Hey Friends,

Welcome back! πŸ‘‹

Today, I was taken on an adventure into the heart of the Amazon rainforest, guided by the experiences of conservationist, filmmaker, and writer Paul Rosolie, as shared in his conversation with Joe Rogan on episode 2013 of the Joe Rogan Experience.

Paul Rosolie is the founder of Junglekeepers, an organization dedicated to protecting threatened habitats in western Amazonia. He's also the author of "Mother of God: An Extraordinary Journey into the Uncharted Tributaries of the Western Amazon." His work, his passion, and his adventures offer a unique perspective on life, nature, and our relationship with the world around us.

One of the most fascinating and imagination inspiring stories of Paul's adventures for me personally is the treehouse he and his team built in the Amazon! Β This treehouse, perched high above the forest floor, serves as a testament to human ingenuity and our ability to coexist with nature. It's a symbol of the delicate balance between exploration and preservation, between curiosity and respect.

Paul Rosolie- Tree House

This brings us to today's journal prompt, inspired by Paul Rosolie's experiences in the rainforest.

Reflect on a place in nature that holds special meaning for you. Imagine you were to build a treehouse there. What would it look like? How would it blend with the surrounding environment? How would living there, even for a short time, change your perspective on life and your relationship with nature?

Now that you have your treehouse situated in your journal, let's take this a step further. Let's transform this reflection into action. I challenge you to pick a beautiful place near your home that you love and participate in its beauty in a new way. Go there, pick up trash, contribute to its preservation. Become an active participant in maintaining the beauty of the places you love. I will be doing my own version of this challenge and posting about it in a separate article so make sure you sign up for the newsletter to receive that update directly to your inbox. πŸ’Œ πŸ’¨
