Hey there, 👋

Welcome to our daily prompted journal entry newsletter! As you may have noticed there was a temporary hiatus on the blog and I sincerly apologize for that. This has been my first attempt at a business adventure of my own and with that has come a ton of self doubt and questioning of if i'm even capable of running my own blog. I am currently in a restructuring phase with this site and really trying to narrow down my focus of what I want to build this into. What started as a mens' self improvement blog/ health and fitness content based publication has turned into a bit of a mess. I found my own passion for health and fitness content did not translate very well into a publication of my own. With all that being said, moving forward I will be publishing these journal entry prompts because i believe these can provide a ton of value to our lives. Learning to evaluate yourself, be self critical and developing ways to externalize our thoughts into words is a lost art. In addition to these journal entry newsletters I have plans of implementing my own strength training routine based content for those that would be interested in that, so stay tuned! For now, I will ask you to please join me on this ongoing journey of self reflection and self improvement. I want to write my story for my children as a way to secure my memories and lessons that they can carry with them. I want to answer difficult questions I would otherwise avoid. I want to build a community of critical thinkers and open conversations between strangers to help us all realize that, maybe, we aren't thay differnt after all. Again, I appreciate your patience through the development of this site and i'm so thankful you are here despite those challenges. To avoid wasting any more of your time, lets get right into it!

Today's prompt is a philosophical question that will really get you thinking inwardly:

"If you could go back in time and give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be?"

This question is a powerful one because it forces you to reflect on your past experiences and think about how you could have done things differently. It also gives you the opportunity to think about what you've learned and how you've grown over time.

So how can you apply this question to your life? Here are a few ideas:

  • Reflect on your past mistakes: Think about a time in your life when you made a mistake or didn't make the best decision. How would you advise your younger self to handle the situation differently?
  • Consider your values: Think about what's important to you in life and how you've changed over time. What advice would you give your younger self to help them stay true to their values?
  • Think about your goals: What are some of the goals you've set for yourself in life? What advice would you give your younger self to help them achieve those goals more efficiently?

This journal entry is an opportunity for you to reflect on your past experiences and think about how you can use those experiences to improve yourself in the future. By taking the time to write down your thoughts and reflect on your experiences, you'll gain valuable insights into your own life and the world around you.

But we're not done yet! Stay tuned for tomorrow's prompt, which will help you continue your journey of self-discovery and personal growth.
